Welcome to my website!

While many of the paintings on this website were completed
outdoors on location, an exhilarating way to "capture the moment," I also enjoy
and need the challenge to "push the envelope" and paint from memory of a felt
sensation.  Each way of working is an expression of energy which fulfills my
desire to record the inspiration experienced.

As the painting progresses, the act of painting itself becomes the inspiration. 
As the layers of paint build, the canvas is filled with light and dark and harmonious
colors and shapes which reflect the moods and changes seen in nature.

passion, dedication and sometimes touch of angst as I did in creating them.
